If there is one thing I have learned in marriage, it is the satisfaction felt when you make your spouse one of his favourite treats and he enjoys it all week.
I made Rocky Road during the Christmas Holidays just because John loves it. I didn't know until a couple of weeks ago i brought home a packet of rocklea road from Darrell Lea that he mentioned he loves them but did not fancy the peanuts in it hence did not buy them that often.
So the lovely wife that I am decided to make one specially for him - yes, one without the peanuts.
And the verdict?

Rocky Road
500g milk chocolate buttons, melted
200g marshmallows, chopped
1/4 cup dessicated coconut
2 x turkish delight bars, chopped
1/2 cups peanuts, chopped
Combined all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well
Pour mixture into lined slice tin and refrigerate until set
Use a warm knife to cut it into squares
