Believe it or not, in about two week's time, we will be celebrating our paper wedding anniversary. Already? yeah I know right?
Well hey, not that i'm complaining, married life has been pretty bueno i must say so myself. The past twelve months have been whimsical and magical. It's like a dream come true. Having to wake up every morning to the love of my life, my best friend sleeping beside me and looking around me and seeing that i have everything and more that i could ever wanted is pretty amazing.
The other day in the car we were talking about what we were going to do with our wedding anniversary gift. McHottie suggested that we should picked out something together for ourselves as opposed to getting each other a present. It makes the whole thing so much more meaningful and i could not agree more.
McHottie can be a real closet romantic - the little ideas sprung out of that head of his sometimes impressed me.
We went out and bought it last weekend - care to make a guess?
(It will be revealed in my anniversary post) (Hint: paper theme)
We are going on a road trip up the coast to the beautiful Nelson Bay over our anniversary weekend. We had to ditch Plan A - which was to go back to Nelson NZ where we got married and revisit our frozen wedding cake and my bouquet which are still sitting in my mother in law's huge freezer. But with the upcoming big move at the end of April, it's really not ideal so we went for Plan B instead - which is to go somewhere closer within the country.
So it's all fun and games this coming two months and i'm really excited!
If you have not heard it already, we are moving to PERTH in less than two months! Oh yes we are!
We are going to be packing our lives into boxes and fly across the country to the Western Australia where we will call Home indefinitely. How very exciting!
I think i would enjoy Perth and the lifestyle it has to offer. McHottie has never been there but i've been a couple of times and i loved it. Living in Perth is going to be a vast different from Sydney in terms of so many things but you know what, as much as i adore Sydney and sad to leave behind the friends and lifestyle we've grown accustomed to, i think it's time for a change.
So there you go, that's whats been happening around here and if you are wondering, yes the kitties are definitely coming with us!
