I invited a couple of friends over to our place for a bbq dinner on saturday. As it's already the Spring/Summer period,I thought it's a good time to start using our barbie again.
Aside from the bbq meats that we've bought and marinated, I also made chicken & spinach salad, roast potatos with bacon bits and a strawberry meringue cake for dessert. It turned out that we had two desserts that night because the lovely Jess came armed with a flourless chocolate cake that she specially made for us. It was really delicious! Desserts were served with a scoope of vanilla ice-cream.
We had a really good time hanging out with our friends over good food and bottles of wine. And in a couple of weeks time, we get to do it all over again (house-warming), in a bigger scale this time.
