Looking back at 2010, this year has been a series of eventful one for me. Mainly, it has been focused on us moving to Western Australia and getting us settled down here in Perth. I have alot to be thankful for in 2010 because its been brilliant!
This year, i've met alot of new and awesome people and some of whom have been made friends for life. I have been very blessed to have cross paths with them in this life time and will cherish these new friendships i've acquainted.
This year, i've learned how important family and friends are to me, how much I treasure their relationships. I also fell in love with my husband all over again; discoveing huge amount of love and respect I have for him even more.
Life is good... it really has been for me this year.. I have been so lucky and blessed and i'm really thankful for that.
In 2011, my resolution is simply to live life to the fullest. As I am going to turn 30 this year, I want to make 2011 a memorable one. Yes, you heard me, 30. I guess i've come to terms with that. It's only numbers right? As long as I don't feel an inch like 30 is all that matters ;)
Happy new year everyone! May 2011 be an adventurous, exciting, blessful and joyous one for you. May all your dreams and wishes come true.
January 2010
John bought me my first DLSR camera Nikon D90 and it was the best thing that he could ever given me. Knowing how much I loved photography, he got me one. That day, I've discovered a new passion. This was also the month where John had a promotion and was offered a secondment in Perth.

February 2010
This was the month i've decided it's time for a change. I thought it was time I did something to my hair. I took that leap of faith and had my fringe snipped off. I've always wanted to have bangs and have never had the courage to do it. And I thought to myself why the hell not and so I did... And, I loved it! Bangs rules!

March 2010
Our first wedding anniversary and a trip to Nelson Bay. We reminised about our wedding day and celebrated our love for one another. John also presented me my eternity ring on our anniversary.

April 2010
We celebrated John turning a year older this month. It was also our last month in Sydney. A month where I said goodbyes to the people that I've made good friends with and resigning from the awesome job that I loved so much. It was a jam-packed month of getting organised and ready for the big move.

May 2010
May is my favourite month of the year. Celebrated my last year in my 20s! This month we packed our lives and moved westbound, to the other side of the country. We did alot of exploring of the new city. Scored myself a new job and mum came to visit.

June 2010
Moved into our new home. Lots of unpacking and organising. Brought mum around the city and showed her Perth. Spend quality time with mum doing mum and daughter things like cooking, shopping etc.

July 2010
I took my new found passion to the next level and enrolled myself into a photography course. It was the best thing I could have done for myself. It was officially the winter season and our hot water decided to break down on us and had to shower from a bucket for two cold days. Fun and exciting times.

August 2010
I discovered that we had a pink cherry blossom tree at the front of the house and slowly watched it blossomed into a very gorgeous tree. I used that tree as part of my school project and took many photos of it and showed them at class.

September 2010
We took a trip down south to Margaret River for a long weekend. We did whale watching, wine tasting and explored the southern region. Attended Johan's house-warming party and learned alot about the Swedish. Successfully completed my 3 months probation at work.

October 2010
Discovered alot of new eating places in Perth (especially Singaporean/ Malaysian cuisine! So many here!) and began to realise that yum cha has become a frequent joint for me on a weekly basis. Starting to love my job despite some hiccups i've had in the first two months. New friendships have been bonded. Realised that the suburb I lived in has been invaded with beautiful purple trees and was told that our neighbourhood is well known for jacaranda trees.

November 2010
Weather's getting hotter. Went to alot of summer events/ festivals. Had my first experience at lawn bowling and really enjoyed it. Went to Jacaranda festival in our neighbourhood; held a python and drank milkshakes. Ate heaps of summer fruits especially mangoes and watermelon. Made new friends from England, Mark and Amy, lovely couple.

December 2010
This was the month of festivies. Attended alot of Christmas parties. Hosted farewell drinks at home for both of our dear friends Diya and Johan who were going back home to Mauritius and Sweden. I felt very sad for their leaving because during these few months i've become very close friends with them. Johnny is here to visit us for Christmas and New Year's. Spend Christmas at home with friends over for a barbie and counting down to new year's at The Raffles with the Blacks. All in all, a very good month to end the year.

Once again, happy new year to you lovelies. Only a couple days in to the first month and 11 more months to go. Go and be happy! xoxo
