4 years ago this day, we did the best thing that we could ever do: We adopted Pinky from a cat shelter. Amongst hundreds of kitties at the shelter, she was the chosen one.
I still remember that day clear as a bell; she was sleeping on the couch on her own as she didn’t get along well with other cats. We didn’t really notice her there but when we sat down on the couch, she immediately got up and sleepily came over to John and sat on his lap purring. John was immediately sold and she’s been stuck with us since.
The shelter didn’t have her birth details or history or anything like that, so we made her new birthday the day we adopted her. It was the best thing adopting her! She's been a treasure!
Birthday girl got spoilt with heaps of her favourite food; canned cat food, cheese and ice cream and lots of pats and kisses from dad. She's a one spoilt cat for sure!
Happy birthday our sweet little munchkin! Mum and Dad love you (But clearly you love dad the most!)
