My mini-me, our baby girl, Sunshine.

The moment we were told we are going to have a baby girl, my heart just melt into a big pool of gooey mushy warm and fuzzy love. I have not told anyone this but I have secretly wanted to have a baby girl. Not that I mind having a boy, I seriously don’t and am happy just the same if I do get a boy but now that I know that it’s a girl, I’m very overwhelmed with joy. We’re going to have a girl!! Oh joy of joys!

I turned to look at John and said ‘Congratulations honey, you know what you’ve got yourself into, you’re doomed!’ in a light hearted way of course. As both John and I have talked about this before, that if we do have a girl, she will definitely have him wrap around her little fingers.

She is so going to be daddy’s little princess, and my little angel. I can’t wait to do all the girly things with her: I can’t wait to put on little cute dresses on her and pretty little hair bows and clips. I can’t wait to comb her soft baby hair and tie a pony tail. I can’t wait to bake cookies and cupcakes with her etc. I have so many plans for my baby girl already.

Mostly, I just can’t wait to meet her and hold her in my arms! Oh, my sweet baby girl.

For now, I’ve decided to call her Sunshine on my blog instead of baby M. We have already decided a name for her but will reveal it when she arrives. So for now, Sunshine it is.

On that note, Sunshine is looking healthy and well. All ten fingers and toes intact - which is always good.
