I don't work on friday so it is the only day in the week that I get to spend all day with her on my own. I call it our friday fling. We sing songs, read books, try new baby recipes, I let her chase the cats around the house, and just enjoy each other's company.
She's a great little companion, this little lady.
Yesterday, we tried new food, such as plain yogurt with banana and home made apple sauce for morning tea. She's not much of a fruit fan but I've been told by her carer at childcare that she's starting to like them. So I tried making them yesterday and guess what, they were right! She polished them off! I was thrilled to bits. There's nothing worse than having a fussy baby and she's beginning to explore more than she used to so that's good.
I also made another pot of ABC soup for her next few days lunch and dinner. I've been making this alot this winter because she loves it. But I'm going to try making pumpkin soup for her next week, for a change! I mean, even if she's not sick of it, I am!
