It's a scorcher!

Hows your weekend? We just about survived through a scorcher of a weekend! I'm not exaggerating. It was HOT!

The mercury hit 44C on Saturday and 41C on Sunday while warm temperature hovered around 35C during the night! It was ridiculously insanely hot, but it didn't seemed to bother Miss Bossy though. She had a great time playing with water all weekend! 

We found this inflatable baby pool in our garage which we didn't even realise we had it! It was gifted from our good friends for my baby shower almost 2.5 years ago! I know! Oops.

So we got that inflated, filled it with water, threw some bath toys, mugs and cups and Miss Bossy was happy splashing about. The thing was, she wanted company so I was 'on duty' as The Husband was busy watching the cricket (yawn boring!). I deserved a gold medal for being an awesome mum because I sat on a chair, roasting in the heat while watching my dear daughter having fun in the coolness of the water for 2 hours! Yes, saying I was on the verge of a heatstroke would be an understatement.

But the important thing was that, Miss Bossy had fun. That's all that matters, right?
