dying art

I bought this lovely crochet quilt pattern from two lovely old ladies who were selling handicrafts at the festival yesterday. I was immediately drawn to them because they were so bright and colourful and I have been secretly wanting one for ages. I definitely think crochet or knitting for that matter is a dying art.

When they said to me that they were selling them for $15 each I just couldn't believe it! I was like "are you sure they are for $15??" I mean, bless their kind souls, but the amount of time making this is more than what it's worth. This is truly a bargain from my perspective but what about them? I gave them a twenty dollar note and told them to keep the change. Honestly, I would happily paid them $50 bucks for this because the other shop in Freo that I've been to was asking for $150 a pop! What a rip-off!

I couldn't believe my luck. I've been wanting this crochet quilt for yonks and now i've finally got my hands on them at such a low price. I'm in love.
