baby's wardrobe

I bought some baby hangers over the weekend and started assembling Sunshine's clothes into her wardrobe. There's a pile of her clothes we store in a big paper bag that we have bought over time and also a bunch that my mum bought over.

Sunshine's in-built wardrobe in her room is fairly large so I was only going to use half of it and the other half for our over-expanding clothes, mainly coats and jackets, which obviously is not shown in these photos. Unless of course until her clothes start to grow, which I suspect it will in the very near future, then we'll have to move our stuff out of there.

All the other things like, cot sheets, towels, muslin wraps, booties, hats, bibs etc are currently stored on the hanging shelf until we get a chest of drawers to put them in.

She's got a whole heaps of pinks in there and i'm trying very hard to balance it out by buying other colours other than pink.

Well, let's hope by 32 weeks scan, we still have a 'she' in there, otherwise, I seriously dont know what to do with all these clothes! As you know, ultrasounds are only 95% accurate!

If that really happens, which is a rarity, (but I do know people who had this happened to them before not kidding), it will be hilarious!

  1. Oooh! Such a sweet wardrobe! It must make you very happy to see it :) And YES her stuff WILL overflow. hehe. For us, I had to keep making space for stuff that no longer fit, and replacing wardrobe space with increasing sizes of clothes! Now I store all the 'stuff that don't fit' under my bed!

By the way, my gynae was hilarious, when we scanned and found that we were expecting a girl, she turned to Roboman and said: Congratulations! You'll be spending a lot of money.

    ROFL!!

  2. Yeah, it does make me smile whenever I walk pass her room.. You're right, with baby girls, they get spoilt for choice when it comes to clothes and accesorries what not - i'll prob succumb and overspend buying her things like most first time mothers would! Hehe

Gynae are so funny sometimes aren't they! Haha!!
