What can I say? I'm loving every minute of my maternity leave. Seriously, I think I'm taking full advantage of these last couple of weeks for some me-me time before bub arrives. I do love my own company and thinking that I can no longer do as I please scares me a little. I do admit I find it just a little wee sad saying goodbye to my 'single-hood' but on the other hand, I'm also very excited of this motherhood thing. I know its not going to be easy but hey, who says life is easy to start with anyway.

So what have I been doing on my first week of maternity leave? Well, mostly busy planning and prepping for my baby shower. Its happening this weekend so I'm very excited and looking forward to it. Today, I'm finally done with tying ribbons to straws, organising party favours and some other bits and bobs. Only thing left to do is the food. I love planning for parties - Maybe its time I look at changing my day job? or maybe, I should just concentrate on raising my baby first!
