a surprise party and last day at work

So last friday was my last day at work and I had two surprises in stored for me. The girls threw a surprise baby shower and I was totally surprsed! I thought that I was attending our weekly catch-up meeting but little did i know it was no meeting! It was the best! They bought bottles of bubbles and a sparkling grape juice just for me and platters of nibbles and what not. Then they presented me my baby hamper, which was pretty awesome.





When I got back to my desk, my boss rounded up my team and brought out a cake and a huge present for me! My boss did a little speech, I did mine and then I opened the present. They bought me a play gym and I was stoked! They actually remembered that I needed to get the play gym and went and got me that. Everyone sat around my pod, ate cake, had a few laughs and wished me well and good luck.

It was a really nice and happy farewell at work. I don't deny that my emotions were running high that day but I held it together and didn't shed a tear. Would be embarrasing!
