So we got a couple of things for bubs - not that she'll know or understand what the whole opening of presents hoo-haa is but it's her first Christmas and I want to make it special. We picked out a couple of things such as a portable play gym that we could bring with us on our trip to NZ next month. Play gym is awesome for babies especially for their development during these early months. I use the play gym everyday and Scarlett loves being on it. We have one musical one at home which we use - I would plonk her on it a couple times a day, turn on the musical thing and she would happily lie there on her own, cooing at her dangly friends while I potter around the house doing housework. I would also do tummy time with her on the play gym. Its great.
Dad picked this squeeky dog plushy which you can hang on strollers - the legs and ears make noises when babies squeeze them. It's very cute. I picked out a soft baby panda's pals high contrast book that has pictures of animals in black and white which is exceptionally great for babies her age as they are more drawn towards that colours.
So we're all set for Christmas this year! I'm already so excited and can't wait for Christmas to come - Its my first Christmas as a mummy and I get to celebrate it with my first baby daugther so it's gonna be extra special! :)
