Getting Crafty

I have been thinking of ideas of what I could do with little Scarlett lately, apart from reading and playing with toys that sort of things. I have been toying with the idea of doing crafts with her, and when I say craft I meant colouring, doodling that kind of simple things as I know she's only 15 months old. I have seen her coming home with crafty stuff they did in child care so I thought perhaps I might be able to do something similar with her at home during the weekends.

So I went and got some crayola and craft papers. My colleague also mentioned that I could actually print off free colouring templates online which I thought was pretty fantastic. They have a whole heaps of colouring stuff and even other things you could print off from there. If you're interested you can check them out here.

I think she might be a leftie!

She was pretty interested for about 15 mins before she set off and did her own thing. I wasn't expecting much from an energetic toddler! But we had a good run, she enjoyed that short span of colouring time. Obviously she wasn't great, but at least she doodled and splashed zig-zags and dots across the paper. We shared a few chuckles here and there so was still pretty fun.

Alright mum, that's enough of colouring.. Its hard work for a little person!
