newfound friendship

I finally had the chance to meet Rachel from Pleasure Monger in person! We have been following each other's blog, as well as on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for a while now but have never actually met. In fact, quite a number of mummy bloggers I know live in Singapore and I've always been meaning to meet up with them when I go back for a visit! A las! the stars have aligned!

Rachel is such a lovely girl and she has a gorgeous little family. We met her hubby, M and their cutie pie daughther Faith and oh my god how cute are 3 month old babies!!!??? Faith is such a little sweet darling and when I saw this cute bundle of sweetness just makes my ovaries go overdrive! Haha! She's so tiny compared to our Scarlett and its funny how we tend to forget how small 3 months old babies are!

Scarlett was being shy and clinging onto daddy for dear life.. trust me she's not always like that! Haha!

Nnnaawww.. How adorable is this photo!? J looking like a pro.. maybe time for another one? lol!

They came bearing lovely gift for Scarlett, so sweet! How gorgeous is this red dress? I think they could read my mind because I've always thought Scarlett looked fab in red. Maybe S could wear it for Chinese New Year next year!

Gorgeous!

Showed missy her new dress... :) Approved!

We hosted a typical Aussie barbie (BBQ) as a Welcome to Perth get together dinner for them . It was lovely and we had a good time! I didn't really go the whole nine yard as it's abit more difficult now with a crazy toddler but I did my best! The babies were well behaved, the boys had a good ol' time drinking and plotting crazy ideas like old pals while Rachel and I were chatting about parenthood, life in general and basically playing catching up. I made us some dessert, Pavlova and brownie to finish off the meal. We ate, drank, laughed and were feeling quite merry. Great night!

Rachel and the babies...

S running around and annoying the cat... as usual :)

The gang...

Shame that I didn't really take many photos while they were here and wish I had now. But nevermind as we are heading back to Singapore in a few months we'll get to catch-up with them again!

We were so pleased to be able to host their stay at our home. I was really glad to meet up with R and her family. Its not often that we get friends coming over from overseas so it's always nice to have visitors! :)

R and I were saying to each other that it's so amazing that we were able to find friendship through blogssphere! And I'm very glad to have made this newfound friendship with R and M.
