Tank Choo

One of my proudest moment, being a mum, to this day, has to be this: witnessing my little girl say thank you back to me when I handed her a drink bottle. YES! It was not an one off thing, it happened many more times after that. I surely wasn't expecting it!

I know there will be many more of this type of moment to come in the future but this, really made my day. One of the things that I value very much as a person, is to have good manners. It is such a simple and fundamental thing one should have. You'll be surprised the number of people who have appaling manners these days, its shocking.

I am a firm believer of setting good example/ role model for my children and I truly believe that good/bad habits starts from home. What your children grow up to be in the future is a reflection of you as parent (well, most of the time anyway!). I am not a perfect mum, neither is John a perfect dad. We have our flaws too as parents and we don't always have it right, but, we try to be the best we can be we know how.

Our continuos effort of repeating 'thank you' to her has paid off. It felt extremely rewarding and I just cannot explain that feeling. It felt utterly awesome.

I am so very happy. At least, I know we are doing something right.
