And it was! They got along really well! Granted, it took Miss Bossy about 10 mins or so to warm up to them and she was abit of a grump to start with as it was cutting into her nap time.
I was really apprehensive about bringing her to the zoo on my own and I was expecting the worse from her. There are a couple of things that would trigger the 'TT2' monster to rear its ugly head: Firstly, its when she really wanted something and you take that away from her, Secondly, its when she is tired. So I was pretty much threading on thin ice!
But you know what, you need to give them some credit sometimes - They always tend to surprise you when you least expect them. Miss Grumpy, was behaving like a star, no meltdowns so that was good!

J's little girls were the friendly duos. They were very happy to see Miss Grumpy and was eager to befriend her. The younger one, E was the cutest! She was determined to get Miss Grumpy to play with her that she kept stuffing the bubble tube into Miss Grumpy's hands. Talk about being persistent! And well, what did they say, persevere pays off and so it did.
Sharing chippies together :) S was very gentle to Miss Grumpy and treated her like her little sister - very endearing sight and both of them seemed to have taken to each other, very cute!
It was a lovely arvo sitting on the grass having a little picnic with our girls and their teddies. The rain held off as it was threatening to storm all day but thankfully did not. While we were there, we also got upclose and personal with Trisha the Elephant as she was doing her daily walk around the zoo - I thought that was really special.
xo, Miss Leney
