Miss Bossy's hair has a life onf its own. It is curly, thin and wispy. It needs regular brushing if not it becomes like this:
I have been wanting to trim her fringe but held back because there was not much thickness to do so. However, her hair is getting longer and the front bit has been getting in the way so it needs a cut. I have been tying it up everyday but are running out of hair ties! She loses them by end of the day so we go through a packet of hair ties very very quickly. A cut would be the wiser and cheaper option.
We tried going into the hair salon a couple of weeks ago and that went down REALLY well. We Q-ed for 20 mins and by the time it was her turn, she had a meltdown because she didn't want to sit on the chair. There were many other punters waiting for their turn so I made a swift and executive decision to get the hell out of there. And we did.

I was home with her yesterday and we did our usual painting activity. As she sat quietly painting away on the bar stool, I decided to whip out the kitchen scissors and do a spontaneous snip. And just like that, I managed to trim her bangs! She didn't even flinch.
I may not have a clue in cutting hairs but I think I did a pretty good job. It isn't perfect but hey let's be honest here, we could get away with this until she turns 13. Right? Right.
I think she looks cute as button and... very grown up!
