I celebrated my birthday last week and I had an amazing day. I was so spoilt and loved by everyone.
On the eve of my birthday, I came to work and had an amazing surprise. My workspace was beautifully decorated with pictures of butterflies and a 'Happy Birthday' message! My lovely workmates came in very early just to decorate them and I really appreciate the effort and also for getting up so early! I am usually in the office by 7.15am so for them to get it all up, they were probably in the office at 6am! They did said that it would be nicer if I wasn't an early starter! lol!
I took an annual leave on my birthday so that I could also spend it with my mum, who is here from Singapore. I was woken up with breakfast served in bed (again.. how awesome is this man?!) by the husband and Miss Bossy saying 'Happy birthday' to me and singing the song too. The husband was on leave too so we both went out on a movie date in the morning. After movies, we went back to pick up mum and Miss Bossy and we all went to the mall for lunch. I also tried to get a new running shoes as a birthday gift from my in laws, but unfortunately, I couldn't find one I like at that mall so we've decided to go some place else on the weekend to get it.
Afterwards we came home and ate cake!
Mum really spoiled me this birthday and gave me a new android phone! She got me a Samsung Note 3 and I am well over the moon! And not only that, she gave me some little bits and bobs as well, like, a new perfume, new make-up and a pair of gorgeous earrings.
We had dinner reservation at a french restaurant in Crown Perth and I was very excited about that. I don't remember the last time the husband and I went out on a nice dinner date! Its been awhile! I dressed up for the dinner as I don't get to do this often! The husband looked quite dabber in his jacket too.
Dinner was nothing short of amazing. I will blog it on a separate post. We were seriously stuffed! The food was spectacular and I was really happy we went there.
All in all I had a really fab birthday.
